MATCH services walked away from rights to over 450,000 room nights, leading everyone to the conclusion that the worldwide economic recession will drop the hammer on the 2010 games. When the games were awarded to South Africa in 2004 a trip to an exotic locale for the world’s biggest game sounded like a wonderful adventure and a chance to get away.
