Tony Knopp

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder

Tony brings over a decade of experience in the internet, sports, and entertainment industries to SpotlightTMS as a Co-Founder and CEO. A Silicon Valley born techie, Tony has had the unique experience of working on all sides of the ticketing and technology landscape including B2B and B2C e-commerce. Prior to Spotlight, Tony helped grow the StubHub Corporate Sales & Services department from inception and eventually served as Co-Department Head. Past industry experience includes partnership development and sales at global entertainment provider AEG.

Tony has been cited as an expert in technology, sports, CRM, and compliance by: NBC, CBS, Fox Business, CNBC, Yahoo!, The New York Times, NPR, CRM Magazine, The Sports Business Journal, ESPN the Magazine, ESPN.com, The Los Angeles Times, and Reuters amongst many others.

Tony has penned pieces for The Sports Business Journal, CRM Magazine, Software & Information Industry Association, The Locker Room, and Reuters amongst others.

Tony enjoys surfing, volunteering and mentoring at his Church and local youth programs, and golfing. Tony played Varsity Volleyball and received a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Southern California and resides in Calabasas, CA with his wife and twin children.

Joe Greiner

Chief Revenue Officer and Co-Founder

Joe brings significant experience in the ticket and software solutions industry to help Spotlight clients improve current processes and achieve their goals. Prior to Spotlight, Joe headed the corporate sales department at StubHub with Tony Knopp. Focused on the east region, Joe managed sales as well as the support team and along with Tony and Aric Haut led corporate sales to the highest growth of any channel at StubHub. Past experience includes leading sales at GXS, a supply chain technology provider, and sales specialist positions at UUNet, internet service provider, and CareerBuilder, online job portal.

Joe enjoys playing tennis, basketball, swimming, reading about American history, and catching Nats games with Grant. He received a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Bucknell University and resides in Falls Church, VA with wife, Paige, and three sons, Grant, Luke, and Teddy.

Aric Haut

Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder

Aric provides valuable operational and entrepreneurial experience enabling Spotlight to be the clear market leader for ticket management. Prior to Spotlight, Aric was at StubHub where he was the sales manager for the Southwest, specifically focusing on managing StubHub’s robust corporate clients needs for national events such as the Super Bowl, Final Four, and NBA All-Star game. He joined the sales department from the operations team that built StubHub’s vast national presence, managing field operations for last minute fulfillment. Prior to StubHub, he owned and operated Rival Gear LLC, a custom clothing manufacturer, which was sold to a privately held firm based in Las Vegas, NV.

Aric is a lifetime Dodgers fan and enjoys doing Krav Maga, traveling, and spending time with family. He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona and resides in Los Angeles.

Alex Diaz-Asper

Chief Financial Officer

Alex has extensive experience in finance operations, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity with multinationals and start-up companies in a wide range of industries, from telecommunications to marketing services.

Over his 17 years of experience in the U.S., Europe and Asia, Alex has been a venture capitalist, CFO, company founder and M&A advisor. Alex has held leadership positions at, among others, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, TARP Worldwide, Inc., Alfred Street Partners, MCI Communications and PSINet.

Alex holds a BA in Quantitative Economics from Tufts University and an MBA with Honors from the University of Michigan.

Mansoor Mirza

Vice President, Engineering

Mansoor worked as a Software consultant at Juniper Networks and NASA Ames Research Center before joining Spotlight. Mansoor has in-depth and practical understanding of all issues involved in developing enterprise Software, and brings over 10 years of experience developing highly-available and scalable Software applications and services.

Mansoor received a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in Lahore, Pakistan.

He completed his master’s degree in Computer Science from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Mansoor enjoys playing tennis, and is an avid Lakers fan.
